I think probably now more than ever with the current landscape of the legal battle that's going on in workers' compensation, it's probably more important than ever to consult with an attorney as early as possible. Because there is just so many different types of loopholes that insurance companies are fighting to get people stuck in these little crevices where they're allowed to deny the claim. And again, with the Second Injury Fund being a super complicated portion of the statute right now, it's just crucial to get somebody involved, make sure they file the claim against the fund, make sure they understand. The ins and outs of that entity and when it has responsibility and when it doesn't.
